New to Off-Roading? Learn to Use Your 4×4 With Confidence.
Worried about taking your 4×4 off road and damaging it? Almost everyone is, at first. Our beginner classes are built to take that fear away. You’ll drive your own vehicle, go slow, and learn your rig’s limits step by step with a personal instructor beside you, in a controlled setting where safety always comes first. You’ll be amazed at what your vehicle can do, and how safe it feels doing it.
Our Classes
Every class is designed to push you slightly outside your comfort zone, never past it, so your confidence grows a little more each time. We call it edutainment at its finest.
101 Beginner Class: $199.99
Our foundation class takes you through all the basics of using your 4×4, so you understand what it is truly capable of. You will work through 12 unique obstacles, each one only about 5 to 10 feet long, so you experience it quickly and move on to the next. Along the way you will learn the difference between 4 High and 4 Low, off-camber driving, approach, breakover and departure angles, lockers, and the other essentials every off-roader should know. 201 Class: $239.99
The 201 picks up right where the 101 left off. It is held at a private, closed park in Bryan, Texas, where you practice on man-made obstacles in a very controlled environment with no public traffic. The obstacles run about 10 feet to 20 yards long, so you stay in each obstacle longer than you did in the 101, and that extra time in the obstacle is what really builds your skill set. 250 level class Hidden Falls: $249.99
The 250 is everything you get in the 201, but done on live trails. It is held at Hidden Falls Adventure Park, which is open to the public, so you run real trails alongside other off-roaders while you build seat time and take part in at least one group recovery scenario. See the 250 class
301 Level Class Hidden Falls: $269.99
The 301 builds on everything you learned in the 201 and 250 and pushes you even further. You will put those skills to work on trails with climbs, off-camber sections, and water crossings at Hidden Falls Adventure Park. See the 301 class

Meet Your Instructor
Todd has been off-roading since 2008, exploring trails and national parks across the country. He served as a JJUSA guide and coordinated the JJUSA Ouray Jamboree from 2011 to 2019. Today he teaches the way he wishes someone had taught him: personally, patiently, and one-on-one, so you leave the class comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Offroading101 has been running since August 2019.
