Booked a class, or thinking about it? Here is everything you need to know before you show up, so the day itself is all fun and no surprises.
Where to go
Our Texas classes meet at our park in Bryan: 6250 Hwy 47, Bryan, TX 77801. If your GPS prefers coordinates, use 30.613206, -96.419921 for the gate. The 250 and 301 classes meet at Hidden Falls Adventure Park instead, and private classes meet wherever we arrange with you.
When to arrive
The gates open at 9:00 AM, and class starts at 9:30 AM sharp. Plan to arrive in time to check in, sign your paperwork, and get settled. If you want to take your doors or top off, give yourself extra time for that.
What to bring
For the 101, honestly: your rig and yourself. Bring your own drinks, lunch, and snacks as needed for the day. As you move into the 201 and beyond, start bringing a medical kit, a tow strap, shackles, a fire extinguisher, and a communications radio. Sunscreen and a hat are always a good idea. We spend the day outside.
Your vehicle
Stock or modified, your rig is welcome as it sits. You do not need to buy or install anything before the 101. The driver just needs to be a licensed driver. Your price covers one rig and driver, and guests riding along with you come at no extra cost. For the 101 and 201, your park entrance fee is included in the class price.
The paperwork
There is a little paperwork to sign when you arrive. It only takes a few minutes, and then we get to the fun part.
Weather
We watch the forecast closely. If the weather forces us to cancel a class, we will make that call by Wednesday afternoon before your class, so you have plenty of time to make other arrangements.
How the day ends
We will wrap up between 4:00 and 4:30 PM, depending on how many questions everyone has. Before you head out, we will make sure you are aired back up and properly set to go on the highway for your trip home. Fair warning: the day will be tiring, both mentally and physically. It is also a lot of fun.
If you need to reschedule
Life happens. Cancel 14 or more days before your class for a full Offroading101 voucher, or 7 days before for a 50% voucher. Inside 6 days there is no refund. Vouchers have no cash value.
