Our Team

Our Team

We are a small family business that believes in educating people about the abilities of the off road vehicle and how extremely capable they are right from the factory.  We could not find a single comprehensive source for the novice to start learning what their stock vehicle is capable of so we decided to start Offroading101 as a way to bring people in and make them feel comfortable learning the basics.  Our goal is to share the fun and excitement that we have in our daily off roading life and help build your confidence level!

Todd Bacon

co-owner

Todd began his off roading adventures in 2007 when he purchased his first 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sport with no real off roading knowledge,  Finding a good group of people that helped introduce him to wheeling, he started teaching novice drivers how to use their vehicles.  His vision is to introduce people into the off roading community in a safe manner without the intimidation that comes with starting a new sport and feeling like an outsider.

Mary Beth Bacon

co-owner

Mary Beth is the support and driving force behind the scenes.  Owning a Jeep Wrangler before and not ever fully understanding their off road prowess, she has seen the need to help spread the word about what these off road vehicles are capable of and wants to share it with new drivers.

Michael Grzegorek

Partner/ instructor

Mike has been offroading for years and served as a trail guide on multiple Jeep Jamboree USA events including Arch Canyon, UT and Ouray, CO.  Mike is a large proponet of teaching and sharing safety on the trails.  Mike is an energetic and outgoing trainer that loves to work with people and show them the ropes and spread the off road addiction.

Sue Grzegorek

Partner/Guide

Sue “Goddess of Rock Crawling” Grzegork has been offroading for years and supporting Mike and countless other offroaders whether it be with Jeep Jamboree, personal trips or with us at Offroading101.  Sue brings a strong confidence and knows no stranger and even more so when it comes to going off road.

Jeanie Forehand

Instructor (2022)

Jeanie has been off-roading all her life and started the old-fashioned way, on horseback.  She now has a Jeep TJ that is a rock crawler, a JK she is building to do everything, along with a Polaris Rzr and four-wheeler.  Jeanie has a passion for off-roading and brings with her a long history of instructing.  She and her husband are out on a trail most weekends somewhere.  Jeanie loves to learn and wants to share her knowledge of off-roading with those who are learning.  She is energetic and makes you feel right at home.

Dustin Lehnig

Trainer in training (2022)

Dustin brings a lifetime of outdoor adventure experience to the team, through mountaineering, ice climbing, snowboarding, wake surfing, kayaking and overlanding. He has climbed Mt. McKinley, multiple fourteeners, kayaked class 5 rapids and in recent years spent countless night off roading in his overland rigs. Dustin currently off roads a Jeep gladiator, Ford F150 and Ford Bronco. His passion for coaching/mentoring and the outdoors makes him a valuable member of the Offroad101 training team!

Vincent Husband

Guide (2019)

Vincet began his off roading adventures in 2019 when he purchased his first 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport with no real off roading knowledge,  I managed to convince him the he needed to learn a bit more about his rig and what it (and he) could do.  After going off road 1 time, we had him hooked and he even earned a trail nickname of “The Milkman”!  Vincent has been a staple thru many of the classes and enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences making new students feel comfortable.
